We the people establish this Constitution to create a lasting unity amongst the states and citizens our nation, establish a fair system of law under which our citizens are protected, prevent major disrest, provide for the needs of the people so that they may be generally content and ensure that all those who live here after us enjoy the freedom which this country was based upon.
